Most delays on a commercial site come from access rather than cleaning. A little preparation makes the visit shorter and the result better.
Before the day
Confirm water access and which spigots or hydrant arrangements are available. Share gate codes, after-hours access details, and the on-site contact who will be reachable.
Notify tenants of the schedule through your normal channels, especially where entries or parking zones will be temporarily rerouted.
On the day
Clear the zones being cleaned: move vehicles from marked sections, arrange for containers to be emptied or moved off the pad, and relocate outdoor seating and displays.
Point out any surfaces you do not want cleaned, and anything fragile that needs to be worked around.
Afterward
Walk the completed zones with the crew lead while they are still on site. That is the moment to raise anything, not the following week.
